Submissions Coordinator – 12 Months FTC
Salary and benefits:

Kier Construction Major Projects are looking to recruit a Submissions Coordinator who is self-motivated, well organised, has strong communication skills and enjoys working in a bid team environment.
The successful candidate will support the production of bid submissions to fixed deadlines, including formatting to produce high quality documents that are consistent with Kier standards, collating project CVs, producing case studies and datasheets, and managing our database of project information and evidence for bidding. A flexible approach to meeting bid needs will be required, including the potential for some extended working hours.
Key responsibilities:
  • Producing proposal documents for submission to clients. Liaising with our graphic designer to integrate graphics into submissions.
  • Organising couriers to deliver the tenders to customers by due date and time.
  • Support the Bid Manager with ad hoc projects as required.
  • Proof reading documents for accuracy prior upload/submission.
  • Prepare material for post-tender interview and responses to clarifications.
  • Liaising with our regional businesses to gather information for bids. i.e. CVs, case studies.
  • Take ownership of the bid content database and support the team to ensure information is kept up to date.
  • Maintaining all information trails relating to the bids and tender process.
  • Administering all bid information using CRM databases.
Skills and experience required:
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Excellent writing and English grammar skills.
  • Experience of Adobe InDesign would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Able to work both as part of a team and on their own initiative.
