Kier Workplace Services provides specialist teams and technology solutions to help plan, manage and improve our clients’ workplaces. Part Time Receptionist (25 hours per week)

Kier Workplace Services is looking to recruit a part time receptionist to be based on a contract we hold in  Kent. The successful post-holder will be responsible for providing a professional reception, a telephonist and help desk service at the site.

The working hours are Monday to Friday 12:30am to 5:30pm each day.  Please note this position may require additional hours to cover sickness and holiday.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Purpose of this role is to provide a professional receptionist, telephonist and help desk service whilst ensuring targets are achieved
  • Take incoming telephone calls/messages
  • Communicate with visitors, management and colleagues
  • Administration duties includes managing the signing in register, sorting incoming mail, reviewing booking meeting rooms and ordering stationery supplies

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have previous reception experience
  • Competent in using Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Possesses strong customer-service skills at all levels and have the ability to work in a friendly and confident manner
  • Strong communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Efficient and professional approach with the ability to multi-task within a busy environment
  • Able to work as an individual and a part of a team
  • Qualified first-aid trainer or be prepared to attend first aid training
  • Fire Warden trained – desirable
