What do we need from you? 


To be successful in this role you will be a resourceful individual, able to work unaided to rigorous timescales. Being motivated, reliable, with a pro-active, can-do attitude and the ability to work well under pressure. Strong management skills and experience, able to engage and motivate the team to achieve high quality outputs. 

You will also have:
•    Advanced understanding of Python, its uses and available modules 
•    High level of IT competency, experience with all Microsoft Office packages and the use of complex databases and spreadsheets.
•    Experience working with large, complex estates of servers and services, with good knowledge of continuous integration.
•    Good understanding of front-end web development for applications (HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript).
•    Good understanding of web security and hosting infrastructure
•    Understanding of working with maps and geoprocessing principals in context
•    Ability to work with modern databases (MS SQL or POSTGRES).
•    Experience of two-way API integrations (REST, SOAP and XML).
•    Azure, AWS or Google cloud hosting experience.
•    Extremely high attention to detail, with strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills. 
•    Being highly numerate and able to analyse data and statistics.
